In accordance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the start of Daylight Saving Time (DST) has been changed from the first
Sunday in April to the second Sunday in March. The end of DST will also be extended through the first Sunday in November.
Therefore, DST will begin on Sunday, March 11, 2007 and end on Sunday, November 4, 2007.
As a reminder, clearing schedules will not change. However, CME recommends that everyone ensure that their systems will
properly recognize the revised dates of DST in all clearing and message based applications. CME’s Certification Environment
has been upgraded with the DST patch and is available for this testing. The environment will be up according to the normal
Certification schedule, which is Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm with regular maintenance down time on Tuesday afternoons.
There will be no scripts provided, but we encourage testing all types of normal trading and messaging scenarios.
